Hidden Wisdom – پوشیدہ حکمت

ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ہے کہ ایک بادشاہ جو خود کو عقل و دانش کا گہوارہ سمجھتا تھا اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ خود پسند، خوشامد پسند اور خود کو عقلِ کل کا مالک سمجھتا تھا- جب کہ اس کا وزیر ایک عقلمند، باتدبیر اورتحمل مزاج انسان تھا۔ ایک دن بادشاہ چھری کانٹے کی مدد سے پھل کھا رہا تھا کہ اچانک اس کی ایک انگلی چھری لگنے سے زخمی ہو گئی۔ دلیر بادشاہ اپنا خون بہتا دیکھ کر پریشان ہو گیا۔ وزیرنے کہا، ظلِ الہی فکر کی کوئی بات نہیں اس میں بھی اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے کوئی حکمت پوشیدہ ہو گی۔

It is mentioned once that a king who considered himself to be the cradle of intellect and wisdom and at the same time self-righteous, self-indulgent and considered himself to be the master of common sense . While his minister was a wise, thoughtful and patient person. One day the king was eating fruit with the help of a knife and fork when suddenly one of his fingers was injured by a knife. The brave king was disturbed to see his blood flowing. The Minister said, there is nothing to worry about divine shadow, there will be some hidden wisdom from Allah Ta’ala.

یہ بات سن کر نازک مزاج بادشاہ سلامت غصے میں آ گیا کہ میری انگلی کٹ گئی ہے اور اسے اس میں کوئی بہتری نظر آ رہی ہے۔ اس نے اسی وقت اپنے سپاہیوں کو حکم دیا کہ اسے فورا جیل میں ڈال دو۔جب سپاہی وزیر کو جیل میں ڈالنے لگے تو وہ بولا اس میں بھی میری کوئی حکمت ہی ہو گی۔کچھ دنوں بعد بادشاہ کی انگلی ٹھیک ہو گئی۔ لیکن وزیر ابھی تک جیل میں ہی تھا۔

Hearing this, the sensitive king got angry that my finger has been cut off and you see some wisdom in it.  He immediately ordered his soldiers to put him in jail. When the soldiers started to put the minister in jail, he said that I will have some wisdom in this too. After a few days, the king’s finger was healed. But the Minister was still in jail.

بادشاہ سلامت ایک دن اکیلے ہی جنگل کی طرف نکل گئے۔ واپسی پر راستہ بھٹک گئے اور کسی دوسرے علاقے میں پہنچ گئے وہاں کے وحشی لوگ بادشاہ سلامت کو پکڑ کر اپنے سردار کے پاس لے گئے۔ سردار نے کہا، اسے کمرے میں بند کر دو ، ہفتے کے دن اس کی قربانی ہو گی۔ مقررہ دن بادشاہ سلامت کو جب قربانی کے لیے چبوترے کی طرف لے کے جا رہے تھے۔تو ان کے مذہبی پروہت کی نظر اس کی انگلی پر پڑی جہاں اسے کٹ کا نشان نظر آ یا۔ پروہت نے جنگلیوں کے سردار کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سردار اس کی قربانی نہیں ہو سکتی کیونکہ یہ ایک داغی انسان ہے۔ اس کی یہ بات سن کر بادشاہ کو آزاد کر دیا گیا۔  وحشی لوگوں نے نہ صرف بادشاہ  کو آزاد کر دیا بلکہ اس کے ملک کی سرحد تک چھوڑ گئے۔

One day the king went out to the forest alone. On his way back, he lost his way and reached another region, where the barbarians captured the king and took him to their chief. The chief said, lock him in the room, he will be sacrificed on Saturday. On the appointed day, when the king was being led to the platform for the sacrifice, their religious priest noticed a cut on his finger. Addressing the leader of the barbarians, the priest said that the leader cannot be his sacrifice because he is a tainted person. Hearing this, the king was released. The barbarians not only freed the king, but deserted to the frontiers of his country.

جب بادشاہ واپس محل میں پہنچا تو اس نے فوراً  وزیر با تدبیر کو رہا کر دیا ۔ اور کہنے لگا تم ٹھیک کہتے ہیں کہ انگلی کے کٹنے میں اللہ کی طرف سے کوئی حکمت پوشیدہ ہو گی۔ زخم کے اس داغ کی وجہ سے میری جان بچ گئی ۔ وزیر بولا بادشاہ سلامت آ پ کی تو جان بچی انگلی کٹنے سے اور میر ی جان بچی  میرے جیل جانے سے، خدانخواستہ میں آپ کے ساتھ ہوتا تو ان لوگوں نے تو میری قربانی کر دینی تھی۔  دونوں کی زبان سے بے اختیار نکلا سچ ہے اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہر کام میں حکمت پوشیدہ ہوتی ہے۔

When the king returned to the palace, he immediately released the Minister. And he said, “You are right that there will be hidden wisdom from Allah in the cutting of the finger”. My life was saved because of this scar. The minister said, King, your life is safe from cutting your finger, while my life is safe because I was in jail. God willing, if I was with you, these people would have sacrificed me. The same sentence came out from both of them at the same time that surely there is some hidden wisdom in every action of Allah Ta’ala.

Moral Lesson حاصلِ کلام

اس حکایت سے بالکل واضح ہوتا ہے کہ انسان کو ہمیشہ اللہ کی رضا میں راضی رہنا چاہیے اسی رضا کے اندر ہمارے لیے خیر پوشیدہ ہوتی ہے۔ اللہ پاک سے شکوے شکایت سے گریزاں ہو کر ہر حال میں اس کا شکر بجا لانا چاہیے۔

It is clear from this story that a person should always be pleased with Allah’s pleasure. One should be grateful to Allah Almighty in every situation without doubting or complaining.

اس حکایت سے ایک سبق یہ بھی ملتا ہے کہ ہمیں دوسروں کی بات سن کر اُسے سمجھنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے چاہے وہ کوئی ماتحت انسان ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔  

A lesson from this story is that we should listen to others and try to understand them, even if they are subordinates.
